Willie Dee Roberts, Jr. 60, of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at UnityPoint - Trinity Rock Island. Cremation rites have been accorded.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11 am on June 14, 2022 at Trinity Community Baptist Church, 4321 5th Avenue, Moline, IL.

Willie was born May 10, 1962, in Rock Island, the son of Willie and Lucille (Brooks) Roberts, Sr.

Wille loved music was a very talented musician, especially when playing the bass guitar and keyboards. He truly enjoyed playing in his band "The Style Band" he founded with his fellow musicians and good friends, Steve and Timmy. Willie was a family man and looked forward to time spent with his kids and grandchildren. He liked playing chess, domino's, watching movies, and spending time with his girlfriend, Shannon.

He is survived by his children, Willie Dee Roberts III, Nekiea Hall, and Brandon Roberts; sisters, Nanda Roberts, Michelle Roberts, Wylinda Roberts, Melissa Roberts; girlfriend, Shannon Broadnax; grandchildren, Sharmaine McDowell, Destiny Clark-Orr, Immanuel L. Johnson, Shawntrez Rogers, Iyanna Hall, Ian Pearson and a great grandchild, Miguel Clark along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Sr., mother, Lucille and a brother, Lynn Anthony Roberts.
