William Travis Leopard, 53, of Illinois City, IL, passed away Thursday, April 2nd, 2026, at his home.

William T. Leopard was born on October 16, 1972, to Roy William Leopard and Sandra (DeClercq) Leopard. He became a father for the first time on September 30th, 1991. He married his wife, Annette (Parkhurst) Leopard, on May 27th, 1995, with whom he had 3 sons. He worked in injection molding and then went into maintenance at Miller Container.

William wrestled in high school, receiving trophies. He liked playing paintball with his friends and his boys. He liked riding four-wheelers with his boys and going fishing with his dad on the boat. He loved being with his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He spent lots of time building LEGO sets with his grandson and playing chess with his granddaughter. Drawing was another passion of his, which he encouraged another one of his granddaughters to do.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother; Sandra Leopard; wife, Annette Leopard; children, Joseph Leopard (Michaela Burns), Zeth Leopard (Briana Lopez), Nathan Leopard (Kylie Allen); Grandchildren; Hailey, Lexie, Ryleigh, Ian, Ember, and Lilly Mae, step grandchildren; Anthony and Luke, father in law; Michael (Deedee) Parkhurst.

He is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents; father, Roy William Leopard; sister, Christie Leopard; niece, Brandy Young; daughter, Dakota Roate; grandson, Branden Leopard; and mother-in-law, Linda (Haller) Johnson.

William was unable to obtain life insurance, so memorials can be made to the family through Sandra or Annette Leopard.
