Vicki lived life with a heart full of love and a sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day. She never missed a chance to make someone laugh, lend a helping hand, or show up for the people she loved. To so many children, she was the beloved "Book Fair Lady," volunteering at book fairs, field trips, and school carnivals—and every now and then, quietly sending a child home with a free book. She always answered the phone, always had advice, and was the kind of person you could count on no matter what. She adored cats, had a special soft spot for big dogs, and found joy in caring for every animal that crossed her path. Whether she was spreading Christmas cheer as an Elf for Fun Services, being a devoted wife, or the world's best mom, Vicki made life more fun, more loving, and a little brighter for everyone lucky enough to know her.

Creamation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial, Moline, IL. Vicki's celebration of life date will be given out at a later date.
