IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Suzanne
Otts
May 26, 1968 – March 21, 2026
Suzanne Otts, a beloved mother, wife, and cherished soul, passed away peacefully at her home on March 21, 2026. Born on May 26, 1968, in Clinton, Iowa, Suzanne’s life was marked by her deep devotion to family, her kindness, and her infectious sense of humor.
Suzanne was a woman of many talents and passions. She earned an Associate’s degree as a medical assistant from Hamilton College, graduating at the top of her class, a testament to her dedication and intelligence. But beyond her academic achievements, Suzanne’s true joy came from her family and the simple pleasures she loved—especially cooking and collecting vintage cookbooks. She found happiness in creating meals to share and treasured the warmth of family gatherings. Her love for the outdoors was equally strong; camping and spending time with her puppies brought her great delight.
Known for her kind and welcoming nature, Suzanne had a unique ability to make others feel comfortable and valued. Her laughter was contagious, and she delighted in making those around her laugh in return. These qualities created a home filled with love, warmth, and endless joy.
She was incredibly proud of her family, considering her children and grandchildren her greatest accomplishments and the center of her world. Suzanne is lovingly remembered by her husband, Jim Otts; her children, Joshua Phillips, Mellissa Dunham, Dakota Otts, and Dylan Otts; her son-in-law, Marco Dunham; and her eight grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her life.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her son, Austin Otts; her father, Leo Cross; her mother, Marilyn Cross; her brother, Mark Cross; and her sister, Sheree Rogers. Their memories live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Suzanne Otts’ legacy is one of love, laughter, and kindness. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit and the memories she created will endure forever.
A celebration of life will be held this summer.
Family and friends are invited to share memories and express condolences on her memory page at www. mvcremation.com.
