Stacy Rene Steele-Lauritzson, 64, of Davenport, IA, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at her residence with her loving son by her side.

Stacy was a retired RNA with Visiting Nurses. She enjoyed her collection of cookbooks, especially her recipe cards passed on in the family for generations. She found pleasure listening to music, especially on her own jukebox. Stacy was a season ticket holder and fan of the Quad Cities Mallards. She was known for having an open door policy.

Stacy is survived by her son Nealy Gibson, daughter Shamalla Ineichen, grandchildren Lilith, Jayden, Olivia, Sylvanas, and Jacob, and great-grandson Ja'Kai.

Stacy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Gibson, brother William Gibson II, and her beloved dog Rosie.

Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial, Moline, IL.

At Stacy's request, there will be no public memorial service.
