Shirley Munn, 90, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away August 30, 2026. She was born April 30, 1936, in Rock Island, Illinois, to W. C. “Whitey” and Harriet Teel.

She was married to Marlin “J. D.” Munn for 30 years until his death in 1988. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Dale Teel.

Shirley enjoyed reading, word games, following politics, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs.

She is survived by her son, Jeff, of Carbondale, Colorado; her cousin, Sherian McCaw, of Bettendorf, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Caelan, and Lucas.

A private memorial will be held for immediate family.
