Sheila Ann Killing, a beloved homemaker and devoted wife and mother, passed away on May 25, 2025, in Davenport, Iowa, at the age of 68. Born on November 5, 1956, in Fairfield, Illinois, Sheila embodied warmth, love, and generosity throughout her life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 12 pm - 2 pm, at Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial, Moline, IL, with a graveside service immediately following at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport, IA.

Sheila’s heart was as boundless as her creativity. Known for being a very giving and loving person, she poured her energy into everything she did—caring for her family, engaging in crafts and sewing, and bringing her poetic spirit to life through her writing. Her passion for crafting brought joy not only to her but also to those who were fortunate enough to receive her handmade treasures. She cherished spending time with her family, creating memories that will forever echo in their hearts.

As a devout Christian, Sheila found strength and purpose in her faith, guiding her family with unconditional love and support. Her steadfast belief in kindness and compassion influenced those around her, encouraging them to find joy in everyday moments.

Sheila is survived by her loving husband, Lester Killing, who stood beside her through the years, and her son, Michael Killing (Reggy), who continued to carry her legacy of love. She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters Debbie Keis and Connie Proctor (Mark), her brother Tim Tyler (Cindy), and her two cherished grandchildren, who were the lights of her life.

Preceding her in death are her father, Walter Tyler; her mother, Maxine Tyler; and her brother, Danny Tyler. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved Sheila, as she now joins them in peace.

Sheila Ann Killing’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven of love, creativity, and unwavering faith. She leaves behind a family that will strive to honor her legacy of kindness and compassion. While she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
