Sharon Kidd

Sharon Gladys Kidd, 63, of Davenport, IA, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025, after failing to recover from a series of infections and cardiac arrests. She succumbed to her illness at Iowa City Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones.

Sharon was a devoted mother, and loved and cared deeply for all of those she had the joy of calling family. She dedicated all of her time to the care and support of others, whether it be her children, friends, pets, or many, many plants.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Mary (Crews) Kidd and William Kidd, as well as her sister, Karen Kidd. She is survived by her sister Leslie Kidd, brother Christopher Young, as well as her children; Adam Demmer, Zachary Demmer, and Karlee Demmer.

Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial, 1811 15th Street Place, Moline, IL.
