Ronald W. Fradel, 85, of Bettendorf, IA, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Fieldstone of DeWitt, DeWitt, IA.  His wife, Lois J. Fradel (Robinson), predeceased him.  They had been married for 54 years at the time of her death in 2018. He is survived by his daughters, Amanda L. Slavens (Matthew) of Bettendorf and Jennifer E. Fradel (Steven Green) of Newtown, PA.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Olivia Slavens, Ian Slavens, Samuel Green (Kathryn), and Jacob Green.  He is also predeceased by his parents, brother, and grandson. 

He retired from Alcoa in Riverdale, Iowa, in 2005 after 28 years of service in quality control and production planning.  Prior to his employment with Alcoa, he was employed by Nabisco in Rock Island.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  

Funeral services will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation & Direct Burial.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Please gather at the Mississippi Valley Cremation/Wendt Funeral Home at 9:30 am to join in the procession.
