Ralph “Buddy” W. DeLoach Jr., 82, of Moline, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026 at UnityPoint Hospital in Rock Island, Illinois surrounded by family.

There will not be any funeral or burial services in accordance with Ralph’s “Buddy’s” final wishes. Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation & Direct Burial, 1811 15th Street Place, Moline, IL. Ralph “Buddy” was born on January 6, 1944 in Rock Island, IL, a son of Ralph “Wally” and Marjorie (McLaughlin) DeLoach. Ralph worked at International Harvester's Farmall Plant in Rock Island, IL through the last tractor that rolled off the production line in 1985 after the buyout by Navistar International Corp., and he transferred to their Indianapolis, IN facility where he eventually retired in 1993 after 30 years.

He enjoyed 61 years of marriage with Mary Ann (Morales) DeLoach before his passing.

Those left to cherish Ralph’s memory include his children, Danny (wife Benita) J. DeLoach, Diana (husband Matt) L. Orton and Lee (wife Isela) D. DeLoach; grandchildren, Amber, Jeremy, Logan, Alyssa, Nick, Lee Jr, Elizabeth, Devin, and David; great-grandchild Nataleah; siblings; Clarence “Buck” David DeLoach and Rosemary “Rosie” Elaine Murphy; and several nieces and nephews.

Ralph “Buddy” was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Mary E. Porter, Patricia Ann, Cherie Ann and Deborah Lynn.
