Patricia A. Weeks, 75, of Neponset, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia was born on June 24, 1951, in Kewanee, the daughter of George and Lois “Jane” Stone. She grew up in Neponset and was a proud graduate of Neponset High School, Class of 1969. On June 17, 1972, she married Thomas J. Weeks in Kewanee. Pursuing her passion for helping others, Patricia attended Freeport School of Nursing, graduated from Marycrest College, and worked at Kewanee Hospital.

Patricia attended Neponset Congregational Church and was involved in many local organizations, including Florence Nightingales, Daughters of Yolada, The Dilettantes, Neponset Historical Society, and Neponset Pride. She also volunteered with the Red Cross Blood Drives in Neponset.

Patricia will be remembered most for her resilience, compassion for others, and selfless nature. Her quiet willingness to put others first truly made her the beautiful person that people knew and loved. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending Jordan’s school & sporting events, listening to music, reading, birdwatching, and taking day trips.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Weeks; three children, Michael, Rachael, and Amy Weeks; her cherished granddaughter, Jordan Porter; two brothers, Mike Stone and George Stone; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Virginia Price, Tim Stone, and Tom Stone.

Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and no formal services will be held. A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Patricia will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial, Moline, IL.
