Patricia "PJ" Jan McBride, 80, of Moline, IL, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Allure of the Quad Cities. PJ was born July 12th, 1946, in Winfield, Alabama. She is survived by her two sons, Jason and Ricky, and her sisters, Carolyn Sue, Linda, and Glinda.

She spent much of her life living in the states of Washington and California. Later in life, she enjoyed twenty years of retirement living in the deserts of Palm Springs, California. 

PJ loved art, music, sunshine, and the desert. One of her favorite songs was Drops of Jupiter by Train.

She is remembered for her kindness. She was always a source of kind words and encouragement for her family, friends, and caretakers.

Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and no formal services will be held. Cremation was handled by Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial, Moline, IL.
