Michael Miles Sr.

Michael Stephan Miles Sr., 54, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on October 24, 2025, in Davenport. He was born on November 6, 1970, in Joliet, Illinois.

Michael was a family man through every season of his life. His greatest pride and purpose were the people he loved, and he would do anything to protect and provide for them. He built his life around loyalty, love, and doing what needed to be done, no matter how long the days were. Michael would work seven days a week, often both first and second shift, because he wanted to make sure his home was safe, warm, and full of love.

He was the Founder and CEO of CZ & JR Delivery LLC, a company he created with his wife in honor of their children. For Michael, the business was more than a job. It was a way to show his family the meaning of hard work, dedication, and standing on your own two feet.

Michael loved riding motorcycles and the freedom, peace, and joy that came with the open road. He valued loyalty, strong bonds, and the fierce love of a close family. These were the things that mattered most to him.

He is survived by his children: Stephanie Jimenez-Miles, Cheyenne Kent, Zoey Miles, and Michael Miles Jr. He is also survived by their mother, Autumn Miles, with whom he shared almost 30 years of love and life. He is survived as well by his brother Arthur Miles, his loving cousin and best friend Charlie Miles, and many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, grandchildren, and friends who will continue to carry his memory forward.

Michael is preceded in death by his mother Patricia Welter, his father Gerald Miles, his brothers John Miles and Gerald Miles Jr., his nieces Crystal Miles and Ashley Miles, and his nephew Cody Miles. We take comfort in knowing he is now reunited with them, held in peace and love.

Michael’s love was steady, strong, and unmistakable. His legacy lives on in the home he built, the family he cherished, and the lessons he passed down: work hard, love harder, and never turn away from the people who are yours.
