Michael J. Gibson, 59, of Davenport, IA, passed away on January 3, 2022 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 - 7:00, Saturday, July 16th at the Credit Island Lodge, Davenport, IA, off Credit Island Road.
Michael was born January 23, 1962, in Harvard, IL the son of Lawrence Joseph and Frances Lorraine (Greb) Gibson.
He was married to Alice Fleetwood. She preceded in death on May 4, 2016. He then met Jackie Harris, whom he loved before she passed away.
Michael enjoyed woodworking, anything involving construction, spending time with his grandchildren,
football and NASCAR. He had been employed at Browns and Cut Right.
He will be dearly missed by his children, Misty Bixby, Chris Bixby, Davenport, IA Tyne Jett, Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Justin Shelsky, Devin Shelsky, Aydin Bixby, Hannah Jett, Layla Jett Kaleb Braun Kaytlyn Jett; sister, Debbie Gibson; brothers, Darrell Gibson and Bill Stinocher. He also had numerous daughter-ish and son-ish people in his life
whom he loved dearly and his faithful companion, Bella, whom he adored.
