Lucinda Janeen Smith, age 72, passed away peacefully at her home on June 14, 2026, in Muscatine, Iowa.

Lucinda will be remembered for her love of family, her caring spirit, and the many lives she touched throughout her years as an emergency room nurse, homemaker and Nana. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and those she loved.

She is survived by her children, Chad (Sarah) Hippler, Andrew Greve, and Tiffany (Michael) Hunter; by her grandchildren, Isaiah, Breah, Kaylen, Jace, Lily, and Cora; by her siblings, Brad, Dennis (Tracey), and by Jessica Greve, a beloved member of the family. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Dawn Seaman, brother Vincent Seaman and parents, Arthur and Joanne Seaman.

Lucinda's legacy lives on through her family and the many memories they shared together. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A memorial service honoring Lucinda will be held on July 12, 2026 at 10:00 at the Moline Seventh-day Adventist Church, 3521 53rd Street, Moline, Illinois. A fellowship lunch will follow the service.

Though she is no longer with us, the love, kindness, and memories she leaves behind will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
