Lori Leneè Schieving, 61, of Davenport, IA, passed away peacefully Monday, April 20, 2026 at Trinity hospital surrounded by family.

She was the wife of Patrick Schieving, and shared 35 years of marriage.

Lori was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, on February 21st 1965 to Valina Hawley and the late Thomas Dittmann.

Lori had a deep love for travel and adventure, embracing life with a true gypsy spirit. Among her favorite destinations were Europe, New Mexico, Virginia, and Germany each holding special memories close to her heart. She was free-spirited and found joy in life’s simple and creative moments; camping under the open sky, sculpting art, and crafting beautiful mandala bead designs. Above all, Lori cherished the time she spent with her family, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter.

Lori is survived by her husband, Patrick Schieving; her children Patrick Schieving II (Mariah), and Brogen Lopez (Eric) as her heirs; and her grandchildren Sierra, Brandi, and Saige. She also leaves behind her mother Valina Hawley, her brother Robert Brown (June) and sisters, Lisa Gertz (Mike) and Erin Moseley (Clay).

Lori is preceded in death by her father Thomas (Tom) Dittmann.

She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love of life, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her.
