Lisa McQuillen, born on September 10, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, in Bettendorf, Iowa. She is fondly remembered for her kind nature and her willingness to help others in need throughout her life. Lisa worked in the grocery industry for many years, spending significant time at Cub Foods in Bloomington, Illinois, and Hy-Vee in Davenport, Iowa.

A proud graduate of Davenport West High School, Lisa possessed a deep affection for her family and remained devoted to her daughters, Jennifer (Matthew) Hamma and Jamie (Joshua) Langdon. Her love for her children was profound, and they were truly her world. Her pride extended to her grandchildren, Asher and Heath Hamma, and Mila Langdon, with the exciting anticipation of a grandson on the way.

Lisa was a lifelong Chicago Bears fan and an avid supporter of the Iowa Hawkeyes, reflecting her spirited personality. Her love for her family was a cornerstone of her life, as she consistently expressed unwavering support for those around her, even as she navigated her own challenges.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Christine Stricker; daughters, Jennifer and Jamie; grandchildren, Asher, Heath, and Mila; and siblings, Sue Cook and Paula (Patrick) Steward. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Lisa is also survived by Steve Valle, her roommate, friend, and companion of 15 years.

Lisa is preceded in death by her father, James Petrosky, and her stepfather, Paul Stricker, as well as many other beloved relatives. While her journey was often marked by struggle, her family finds comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering, and her spirit will forever reside in the hearts of those who loved her.
