Linda Anderson, 77, of Moline, IL, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at her residence surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on July 9th, 1949, to Frank George Linhart and Phyllis Yvonne. Linda attended Walled Lake High School in Michigan and worked at Mold-Dex Company in Farmington Heights, Michigan. She married Waymon Sherrell in 1974 in Sparta, Tennessee, and raised their four boys in the Quad City area. 

Linda was a devoted mother to her four boys who were her pride and joy. She would do anything for them, and they felt that in the love and support she provided. She enjoyed dancing, playing Yahtzee for money, playing Euchre, and enjoying life to the fullest with her family. Linda was a supervisor for Sodexho Marriott for 4 years and eventually retired in 2002. 

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Yvonne, and father, Frank Linhart. 

Linda is survived by her four sons: Bill (Cindy) Sherrell, Kevin Sherrell, David (Ashley) Sherrell, and Jason Sherrell; brother, Bob (Sheila) Bezotte; sisters, Pam (Tim) DeVriese and Kim Linhart; grandchildren, Brandon Sherrell and Andrew Danielson; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

On Saturday, July 25th, we are having a celebration of life at Bethany Baptist Church in Moline, IL, from 12:00-4:00 to honor Linda's life.
