Leona Robertson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leona Robertson-Dixon, who passed away at home on July 12, 2026, at the age of 71.

Leona was born on March 3, 1955, in Quincy, IL, to Goldie Passmour and Reco Robertson. Throughout her life, she was known for her kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and her dedication to her family, and she touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

She enjoyed watching old western shows and movies, and she indeed loved Elvis Presley. She found the greatest joy in being around her close loved ones.

Leona is lovingly survived by her sons, Joseph Dixon, William Dixon, and Joshua Dixon, and daughter-in-law LaShante Banks. Grandchildren Olivia Mayo, Caden and Parker Dixon, Nelson Johnson, Jeremiah Dixon, Elijah Dixon, Zachary Lee Anthony Dixon, Isaiah Weisner, Malasia Dixon, and Chanyse Klinghammer. Brother J.D. Robertson. Special friend Kathy Hamilton, great-grandchildren, and many cherished family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reco and Goldie; Willie Dixon Sr. (husband); brothers John and Greg Smith; sisters Patty and Linda Robertson (Smith); and sons Tyrone and Willie Joe Dixon Jr. (Bear).

In keeping with Leona’s wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation.

Though Leona is no longer with us, her love, kindness, and the memories shared will remain in our hearts.

Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial, Moline, IL.
