With profound sorrow and reverence, we announce the passing of Kristine Wilson, who departed this world on September 13, 2025, at the age of 64, to be with her Lord and Savior. Born on December 14, 1960, in Davenport, Iowa, Kristine graced our lives with her vibrant spirit and indomitable strength.
As a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, Kristine's legacy is woven into the very fabric of her family. As a mother, Kristine exemplified love and grace. She leaves behind her beloved and devoted children, Angelina Martinez, Raymond Martinez, Stephanie Martinez, and Ross Philips, who carry forth her legacy of kindness, strength, and faith. Her role as a grandmother was a source of profound joy. Her cherished grandson, Elisha Martinez, will forever treasure the countless lessons and joyful memories shared with his Grammy.
The family bonds that Kristine held dear were further fortified by her strong relationships with her surviving parents, Dick and Wanda Wilson, whose nurturing presence shaped her into the remarkable woman she became. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Shenna Wilson, and her brother, Steve Wilson, who, along with their families, will miss her dearly.
Though we mourn the passing of Kristine, we find comfort in knowing that her sister, Taina Plagmann, who has also departed this earthly realm, awaited her with open arms in the everlasting embrace of our Lord and Savior. Their reunion in Heaven shall be a testament to God's promise of eternal life and love.
Kristine Wilson's journey was marked by her steadfast faith and dedication to her family. She was a pillar of support and a beacon of light through many trials and tribulations. Her laughter will forever ring in our ears, and her wisdom will continue to guide us. She had a God given ability to uplift those around her. She was not just a mother and grandmother; she was a guiding light, offering wisdom, comfort, and an unfailing sense of support to her family. We take solace in the belief that she now resides in the presence of our Heavenly Father, enveloped in His grace and love.
