Kim P. Williams

Kim Patrice Williams, born Aug.14, 1964 in Galesburg, Ill., passed away peacefully at her home in Alpha, Ill. on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Imogene and Marlin Stoneking.

An AlWood graduate, she married Troy L. Williams on Oct. 2,1982 and they had two children, Daniel Williams of Rochelle, Ill. and Cassandra Palmer of Illinois City, Ill.

Kim held a number of jobs in her life, including secretarial roles, managerial roles, owned her own cleaning business for many years and found her passion as a Scentsy consultant toward the end of her life.

A devoted wife and mother, Kim found joy in helping others, especially elderly friends and neighbors.

Kim is preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her husband, Troy, two children, Daniel (Stephanie) Williams and Cassandra (Zac) Palmer, her five grandchildren, Grace & Rory Williams and Ellie, Waylon and Hank Palmer, her brother Craig Stoneking of Antioch, Tenn. and Kyle and Shari Stoneking of Manchester, Tenn. and her loving and faithful dog Bandit.

Visitation will be Sunday Sept. 28, 2025 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church in New Windsor, Ill. with a celebration of life to follow at the Oxford American Legion in Alpha, Ill. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to make a donation to either the American Lung Association or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her memory.
