Kevin Peck, 61, of Abingdon, IL, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at his residence with his loving wife by his side.

He is survived by his parents, Owen and Glenda Ralston, of Avon, IL.  He is survived by his wife, Betty Peck, and four children- Derek Peck of Springfield, MO. Roy (Jessica) Coulter of Abingdon, IL, William (Autumn) Coulter of Abingdon, IL, Cassie (Bradley) Mills of Abingdon, IL, 10 grandchildren, and a sister, Penny (Richard) Berg of Mount Vernon, IA.

Kevin was preceded in death by Glenn and Carmen Thrasher and one granddaughter, Carmen Mills.  He was an avid comic book reader and a big Star Trek fan.   He worked at Briggs Pottery in Abingdon, IL, and later at National Coatings in Galesburg, IL, until he became disabled in 2008.  When he was not working, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, or visiting his parents' farm.  

Per his wishes, cremation will be accorded, and a private scattering of ashes will be at a later date.  There will also be a private family gathering on October 23, 2025, to celebrate his life and share memories.

Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation & Direct Burial, 1811 15th Street Place, Moline, IL.
