Kathleen Louise Myers

Kathleen Louise Myers, 69 of Rock Island, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at her residence of natural causes.

In honor of her wishes, no visitation or burial services are being held. Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial, 1811 15th Street Place, Moline, IL. Her siblings have indicated that her ashes will be spread at the burial site of her parents, James and Ragna Christensen.

Her children are asking visitors to share their happiest moment/memory with Kathy on this page. What's the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Kathy? Will we hear stories about how much of a "tomboy" she was? Maybe it'll be a story about how she hated having her picture taken. Maybe it's regarding her sense of humor or maybe it's about a time when she helped you out when she really needed help herself

Kathy regularly opened her home to anyone in need! Even if she didn't have two nickels to rub together, she'd offer up her last two cents if she could help someone. Her willingness to be there for others is a trait her children believe she'll be best remembered for.

Due to Kathy's refusal to have her picture taken. In closing, we ask visitors to remember that she wouldn't have wanted you to be sad thinking back on her life and the moments you shared together. Think back to the good moments you shared with her, it's those types of thoughts she would have wanted to leave you with!
