Judith Hansen, born on September 28, 1961, in Clinton, Iowa, peacefully passed away on June 8, 2026, at Mercy One Genesis in Davenport, Iowa. Her departure leaves a profound sense of loss in the hearts of those who loved her deeply.

Judith’s life was marked by dedication and warmth. For ten years, she enjoyed a fulfilling career as a truck driver, embracing the freedom of the open road and the challenges it brought. Before that, she worked at a recycling center and enjoyed working with the special needs clients.

Family was the cornerstone of Judith’s world. She treasured gatherings where laughter and love filled the air. Many cherished memories were created through her travels with her daughter, Mika Zeeryp, and her grandchildren, Makenna and Easton Zeeryp—their adventures together indicating a bond rich in joy and shared experiences.

A lover of animals, Judith’s heart was especially tender toward the many cats she adored over the years. Each feline was not only cared for but also profoundly loved and spoiled.

Her beloved “best friend,” Lilly, held a special and enduring place in Judith's heart, along with her best friend Barb, who was Lilly’s grandma.

Judith is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Mika (Dan) Zeeryp; her grandchildren, Makenna and Easton Zeeryp; her sister, Tammy Cheramy; and her brother, Dean (Janice) Hansen; her nephews, Jed (Amber) Cheramy and Hans (Heather) Hansen; her niece Marlanna (Jason) Davis; and her great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Janice Hansen, whose legacy lived on through her.

As those who knew her reflect on Judith’s life, they remember a woman whose kindness and strength touched many. Her spirit remains alive in the stories shared, the lessons imparted, and the love she freely gave. Though she has passed from this world, the warmth of Judith Hansen’s presence will forever illuminate the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on July 11th, 1pm at 2721 N 12th St in Clinton, IA. Any donations can be made to the family to help cover her expenses.

Family and friends are invited to share memories and express condolences on her memory page at www.mvcremation.com.
