Joshua
Brown
February 24, 1995 – April 20, 2026
Joshua Brown, born on February 24, 1995, peacefully passed away on April 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and friendship that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. A devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend, Joshua’s presence was a comforting beacon, brightening the lives of many with his generous spirit and unwavering loyalty.
From an early age, Joshua was known as a mama's boy, a tribute to the deep bond he shared with his mother, Cheryl, and father, Richard Brown. His family was the cornerstone of his world: loving siblings Trista Boyer, Gabe Brown, and Rob Brown stood by his side through life’s journey, alongside his cherished grandmothers, Beverly Brown and Mary Skinner. Surrounded by many cousins, Joshua nurtured a strong and vibrant family community.
Joshua’s character was beautifully marked by his kindness. He was a man who offered his friendship openly, becoming a good friend to all and forming bonds that were deeply treasured. His passing has left a profound and silent void, a deep hole where he should be—one that none can fill.
His passion for football was well known, especially his unwavering support for the Bears and Michigan State teams, a testament to his die-hard fan spirit. This love for the game extended beyond spectating; Joshua took to coaching, dedicating his time as a volunteer coach for Jr. High football. This role brought him immense pride, allowing him to mentor young players and instill in them the values of sportsmanship and teamwork.
Joshua was also a beloved uncle and cousin. Though some dear family members preceded him in death—uncle Bill Brown, grandfathers Frank Skinner and Dick Brown, and cousin Liz Embrey—their memories live on in the stories shared and the lives touched by Joshua.
His life was a beautiful blend of love, friendship, and passion. Joshua Brown’s gentle nature and generous heart enriched all who had the privilege to know him. As we remember him, we hold tightly to the warmth of his spirit and the lasting imprint he leaves on our lives. Though he is no longer with us, Joshua’s kindness and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to call him family and friend.
