Jonathan P. Wille (Jon), age 48, of Geneseo, passed away at home surrounded by love on May 27, 2026.

He was born on June 7, 1977, in Aledo to the late Patrick S. Wille and Susan (Kedrowski) Smithson. He married Stephanie O’Hare on July 30, 2005, and they had two children, Jonathan and his princess, Allison. He was a proud business owner of You’re Approved Auto Sales in Kewanee, where he worked hard to provide for his family while building relationships with colleagues and customers.

Jon will be remembered for his playful spirit, big heart, quirky collections, love of Dr. Pepper, and his ability to make an ordinary moment unforgettable. He showed his persistence, strength, and determination with a lifetime passion for riding and teaching BMX. As a kid at heart, he was proud of his extensive Transformers collection. Jon was most proud of his family and enjoyed spending every moment with them. He loved cereal Sundays with movies and cherry turnovers.

He always had amazing advice and encouraged everyone to try harder.

He is survived by his wife Stephanie, son Jonathan M. Wille of Geneseo, IL, beloved daughter Allison S. Wille of Belleville, IL, baby sister Denise Hesse of Victoria, TX, brother Timothy (Noriko) Wille of Jacksonville, NC, Karen Moore of Milan, IL, Rebecca Garlock of Phoenix, AZ. Nieces and Nephews, Kylie, Aaliyah, and AJ Hesse, Alex, Emma, and Ryan Wille, Tonii (Chris) Brooks, Joei Christopherson, Grace Moore, Isabella, Nicholas, and Roman Zerilli, best friend and brothers Bradley Burris, Michael Wille, and Paul DePauw, his lifelong friends Julie VanDeWoestyne and Brent Wyffels, and also leaves behind a big pile of sticks.

He was preceded in death by his cherished dog Bird.

There will not be any services held.
