Jeffrey L. Wardell, 70, of Galesburg, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at his residence surrounded by family.

He was a loving father to his three children, Stephen Wardell James, Tammy Wardell, and Jeanette (Marcus Allen) Wardell. He had nine grandchildren that he loved with all his heart and three great-grandchildren. He loved to drive the school bus and had previously been a full-time semi driver who traveled across the U.S.

He is survived by his brothers, John (Leah) Wardell and Jim (Sally) Wardell. He leaves behind his special friend, Gleena Edwards. He was preceded in death by his Father, Lyle, and his Mother, Kathleen, as well as his Sister, Joan.

There will be a celebration of life. Once a date is determined, it will be sent out to all family and friends.

Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation & Direct Burial, 1811 15th Street Place, Moline, IL.
