Jeffery Fuller

November 10, 1963 — February 8, 2024

Jeffery Alan Fuller, 60, of Aledo, passed away on February 8, 2024, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.

Jeff was born November 10, 1963, to David & Karen (Richie) Fuller in Rock Island, Illinois. As the oldest child, he welcomed four younger sisters, and they had the good fortune to travel from an early age. He was educated in Iwakuni, Japan; Mountain View, California; and graduated from Moline High School, class of 1982. Jeff was a Boy Scout, participated in middle school football, cross county, and Junior Achievement.

Following his father’s lead, Jeff joined the military after high school. He proudly served in the United States Navy as an air crewman with VQ3 at Barbers Point, Hawaii. This allowed him to travel and continue his education. After his military service, he returned home to help with the family's 3-generation printing business.

Compelled to be self-employed, Jeff later moved to Aledo to start and operate The Computer Works business. Jeff was a gifted artist and technician. He was sensitive, generous, loved animals, and had a quirky sense of humor. He will be missed by many people.

Jeff is survived by his son Justin (Desiree), a granddaughter Kalea, sisters Kris, Karla, Kim, and Kathy, devoted friends Sue, Nancy, and Marshall, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and Goose, his canine companion.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Sunday, February 25th at the VFW in Aledo, Illinois. Military Rites at 1pm with a luncheon following. His final resting place will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to: Western Illinois Animal Rescue, 300 West Harlem Avenue #5, Monmouth, Illinois, 61462.
