Jeff A. Brown, 68, of East Moline, IL, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, at his residence.

Jeff was born on May 27, 1956, in LaSalle Peru, IL, to Eugene and Orel (Wierich) Brown. He married Christie Cryer of Annawan, IL, on October 6, 1984.

Jeff served in the United States Marines from 1974-1978. He retired from the Rock Island Arsenal. He was a member of the American Legion for 30 years. His hobbies included fishing with his grandson and taking care of his dog.

Survivors include his wife Christie; daughter Caryn Webb from a previous marriage of Kentucky, son Cory Brown (Kaitlynn Francois) of East Moline, daughter Kari Brown- Curtner (Jessica Curtner) of Moline; and grandson Easten Brown of East Moline. He was preceded in death by both parents.

A private family service will be held at the National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal July 18, 2024.
