Jeanette Graham

Jeanette Lee Graham, 89, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, at Jersey Ridge Place Assisted Living, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 3, 1936, in Davenport, Iowa, to Joseph W. and Myrtle Maxine Furlong.

Jeanette was united in marriage to Donald W. Graham on April 10, 1965. They were married until his death in 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Joyce A. Von Drehle.

Jeanette began working for the Iowa State Liquor Store in 1963 and retired in 1986. After retiring, she moved to Okeechobee, Florida, where she enjoyed warmer weather and new adventures.

She was a loving, kind, compassionate, and supportive mother and grandmother. Jeanette had a competitive spirit, especially when it came to cards and games, which she loved playing with her family. She liked taking car trips, camping, sitting around campfires, and roasting marshmallows. She was an avid reader. Authors Lee Child and Michael Connelly were among her favorites. She was a devoted hockey fan, a season ticket holder for the Quad City Mallards and later the Quad City Storm. She enjoyed the monthly breakfast club outings with friends. She loved Sunday dinners and weekly Domino games with the family. She was known for her favorite expression, “Fair to middlin.”

She is survived by her children, Vickie (John) Buzzell of Davenport, Iowa; Lynda Enns of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; and Scott Graham (Louisa) of Davenport, Iowa. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Joshua (Katrina) Buzzell of Grovetown, Georgia; Melissa (Denny) Lambert of Bettendorf, Iowa; Amy Dively of Mooresville, North Carolina; Jennifer Enns of Punta Gorda, Florida; and Keri Graham of Davenport, Iowa.

Jeanette was blessed with great-grandchildren: Genevieve, Mary Charlotte, and Fiona of Grovetown, Georgia; Lance, Lilliann Mae, and Madison of Bettendorf, Iowa; Gavin Dively of Charlotte, North Carolina; Kayla Wright of Northport, Florida; Wyatt Dendinger of Punta Gorda, Florida; Desiree Muse and Dakota Twitty of Davenport, Iowa. She is also survived by her great-great-grandchildren, Athena Chipman of Northport, Florida, and Lilly Muse of Davenport, Iowa.

Jeanette leaves behind a legacy of strength, devotion to family, and a competitive spirit. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
