Jamie D. Miller, 59, of East Moline, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026, at MercyOne Genesis East Hospital in Davenport, Iowa.

Jamie was born on August 9, 1966, in Moline, Illinois, to Marilyn (Cady) Shinninger and Dale Inskeep. She married the love of her life, Mark Miller, on April 21, 1990. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and cherished memories. Mark survives her.

Jamie graduated from United Township High School and dedicated many years of service to her community through her work at Eagles Grocery Store in East Moline and later at Jewel-Osco. She was known for her kind heart, friendly smile, and genuine care for those around her.

Above all else, Jamie treasured her family. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren, creating special memories through crafts, laughter, and the simple pleasures of being together. Her love, creativity, and gentle spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Mark Miller; her mother, Marilyn (Cady) Slininger of Moline, Illinois; her father, Dale Inskeep, and stepmother, Cheryl Inskeep, of West Desplaines, Missouri; her daughter, Taylor (Nick) Gesling of Blue Grass, Iowa; her beloved grandchildren, Emmalyn, Maddux, and Makenna; her brother, Paul Inskeep of Clinton, Iowa; her stepsisters, Lynn Harris Lorber and Robin Lipe, both of Moline, Illinois; her brother-in-law, Joe and Olga of Virginia, along with their daughter, Larissa, and son, Robert; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Cremation rites have been accorded and are being directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial, Moline, Illinois. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff on the Fourth Floor and in the Intensive Care Unit at MercyOne Genesis East Hospital for the compassionate care, support, and kindness shown to Jamie and her loved ones during her time there.
