James Pearson, Jr.

James Christopher Pearson, Jr, 45, of Rock Island, IL, passed away peacefully with family and friends by his side on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island. 

James (Chris) was born on March 9, 1980, in Davenport, the son of Ann Mullins and Chris Pearson SR. He loved spending time with his spouse, children, his dogs, Molly / Charlie, and close family friends. He was a big fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs and loved going fishing. He was loving, caring, and always willing to give the shirt off his back. James (Chris) took pride in his children and spouse. 

James (Chris) was employed for three years with Nestle Purina before passing. James (Chris) is survived by his lovely spouse Jessica Claver of Rock Island, Illinois, His five children Jamie Pearson of Moline Illinois, Christian Pearson of Rock Island Illinois, Katie Pearson of Rock Island, Illinois, Abel Pearson of Rock Island, Illinois and Zylee Pearson (Flynn)of Rock Island IL, His brother Matt Mullins of Davenport, IA, His sister Joy and Jamie McDonald of Milan Illinois), Jessica Gray and Michael Simmons(Spook) Rock Island Illinois,  his sister Mony and Velli Hilton of Augusta Georgia. A host of cousins and their children, special friend Heidi McNabb, Esiree Lessard, Hallie Jones, Shane Staley, Lee Gray, Jack, Deb, Lisa, Dennis Rosenthal, Thomas Pearson, and his four boys, Bradley Pearson, Brendon Pearson, Blaise Pearson, Bj Pearson, and Shaleigh Kettler. 

James (Chris) was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Ann Mullins; his brother, Mike; and a nephew, Mikey/Mike Jr. The family will be doing a celebration of life soon.
