Jacob DeVore

Jacob Lee DeVore, 42, of Davenport, IA, passed after a long battle with Cystic Fibrosis on Friday, May 30, 2025, at MercyOne Genesis Medical Center East, Davenport, with loved ones by his side. 

Throughout Jacob's life he enjoyed many hobbies, including painting hot wheels, music, drawing designs for local tattoo artists, and building Lego sets with his son.  

Jacob is survived by parents Sandy DeVore (Dennison) and Jay DeVore, Brother Steven (Allison) DeVore, son Trevin Mychael DeVore, best friend Mychael (Emily) Jones, three nephews, one niece, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jacob was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Chuck and Dorothy DeVore, and great-grandparents Mert and Glen Tolson.

There will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, feel free to share a fond memory of Jacob in the Guestbook, and keep those memories in your heart. 

Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation & Direct Burial, 1811 15th Street Place, Moline, IL.
