Holly Lee, formerly known as Holly Trussen, was born on December 17, 1962, in Kewanee, Illinois. She passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, at Avenues of Royal Oaks in Kewanee, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Holly was known for her vibrant personality and infectious laughter. She was truly the life of the party, a beacon of joy who left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. It would be hard to find anyone who knew Holly that did not have a hilarious story to share, stories that would often evoke uncontrollable laughter and cherished memories.

A true connoisseur of connection, Holly loved coffee clutching and spending quality time with those closest to her. Whether gathering around a table or sharing a quiet moment, she found joy in the simple pleasures of being with family and friends. Her warmth and welcoming spirit created a sense of belonging, making everyone feel special and valued.

She leaves behind her beloved daughter Samantha Lee and daughter Jessica (Brad) Cole; her dear son Jeremy (Ashley) Lee; her cherished brother John Trussen, and her loving sisters Kathy McCants and Sue Trussen. Holly's legacy will also continue through her grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and the bonus sons and daughters who filled her life with love and laughter. A special tribute of her lasting bond is held for Raelynne Neirynck, her close friend and life partner, who stood by her side through thick and thin.

Holly may have departed this world, but she is preceded in death by her granddaughter Riley Ray Cole, as well as her sisters Joy Trussen and Judy Curran, and her brothers Billy Trussen and Jerry Trussen. The memories of these family members will forever remain alive in the hearts of those who loved her.

As we celebrate Holly's life, we hold dearly to the laughter, love, and light she brought into our lives. Her spirit will be forever cherished, living on in the many stories and precious moments shared by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
