Gerald L. Wheeler, 90, of Davenport, IA, passed away on June 27, 2026, at Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA. 

"Jerry" is survived by his wife of 65 years,  MaryLou,  daughter Sue of Peoria IL,  fur baby Nellee, and grand-dogs, Lily, Sassy, and Oliver.   Brother, John (Deb) Wheeler and their family.  Jerry retired from Sexton Ford in the parts department and later "dealer car trades".

Cremation will be directed by Mississippi Valley Cremation and Direct Burial, Moline, IL.  Burial will be at the Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery. Per his wishes there will be no services.
