Gary Leroy Haynes, 76, of Rock Island, IL, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Gary is survived by his Everything Sheila Schuette.

Gary's Children are Lonnie Ray Haynes (Deceased), Jennifer Strand (Joseph), Stacey Williams (Richard II), and Allison Schuette (Jack)

His Grandchildren Crystal Hellman, Anthony Williams, KimberLee Williams, and Savannah Williams.

Great-grandchildren Makena and Aubree.

Gary was a phenomenal father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Generous and loving partner. A devoted friend. Active member of The East End Boulder club. He enjoyed watching his favorite sporting teams, the Cubs, Bears, Illini, and Nascar(Jeff Gordon). Gary enjoyed traveling and had the pleasure of doing so both domestically and internationally.

Gary spent his career with AD Huesing(Pepsi), retiring after 43 years of service.

Gary will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
