Garry L. Near, 67, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend of many.
He enjoyed being outdoors, German Shepherds and spending time with his kids and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 10, 2023, in Fulton, IL, at Manny's Too, 2:00pm. Memorials may be made to the family.
Garry was born in Clinton, IA, on December 5, 1955, the son of Lois and Harry Near.
He was preceded in death by his Father Harry and two brothers Todd and Terry.
Survivors include his Mother Lois Near; one daughter Jessica "Brian" Hildebrant; Son Virgil "Puey" Richardson; two grandchildren Mayzie and Aidan Hildebrant; Brother Larry Near; Sister Jill Knorr, and many nieces and nephews.
