Dottie Ague-Becht, age 53, of Davenport, IA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on June 15th, 2026, at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City after battling an ongoing illness; leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Bowers, Jr. and was a beloved mother and mother figure to Kenneth (Kaity) Ague, Brittanie Becht, Joshua (Ashlee) Becht, Sara Bowers, and Edward III (Caitlin) Bowers and their daughter Copeland. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce (Tom) Martin, niece Della (Mike) Welge, and nephew Tom Jr. (Jessica) Martin. Dottie will be lovingly remembered by many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenneth.

Dottie found immense joy in spending quality time with her loved ones, including her beloved pup, Bentley. She loved attending auctions, stock car races, and rock concerts, where she could let loose and dance. Additionally, she was passionate about crafting with her girls and was an enthusiastic cheerleader for her sons and friends at Dek Hockey.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Family and friends are invited to share memories and express condolences on her memory page.
