Donald Joseph Holem, affectionately known as "Homie," was born on March 20, 1966, and transitioned to eternal rest on June 3, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will forever resonate with those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Donald was a loving father to his daughters, Paige (Bryan) Naber and Heather (Adam) Hill, who were his pride and joy. His family continued to grow through the laughter and love of his grandchildren: Hayden Hill, Hunter Hill, Marley Naber, and Mason Naber. Each of them carries a piece of Donald's spirit within their hearts.
In addition to his immediate family, Donald is survived by his siblings: Pam Schmelzer, Linda Allen (Bill), Terry Eagle (Madeline), Sandy Eagle, Tricia O'Toole (Mike), Sheila Eagle, Robert Eagle (Cyndi), and Vern Holem. The bond they shared was strong, characterized by unwavering support and love. Donald's family was large, proud, and close-knit, standing strong together through thick and thin, a testament to the values he held dear.
As we reflect on Donald's life, we also remember his Mother and Father, Margaret and George "Pete" Holem in addition to his brothers Tom Eagle and Mike Eagle, along with his sister Misty Holem, who have passed before him. Their memories remain alive in the hearts of their family, honoring the connection that persists beyond life.
Donald’s generous spirit, warmth, and humor touched the lives of many and will be profoundly missed. His legacy of love will continue to inspire all who knew him, ensuring that his memory lives on in the hearts of many for generations to come.
