Denise H. Van Acker, 55, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.

A Celebration of life will be Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Moline VFW from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Moline.

Denise was born July 29, 1967 in Moline, the daughter of Donald Van Acker and Betty Provine.

Denise was a passionate caring nurse, retiring from Generations, Rock Island, IL, in 2018. She dedicated over 20 years to taking care of families' loved ones. When she wasn’t working, she spent her time at the softball fields watching her youngest daughter play. Denise loved singing, shopping and making others laugh. She always ensured her two daughters and granddaughter were well taken care of. Denise was fun, loving and such a joy to be around

Survivors include her children, Chaunte (Henry) Rogers, Silvis IL, Miranda Marion, Memphis, TN; granddaughter, Ja’Nyiah Rogers; brother, Nick (Asuncion) Van Acker; sister, Heidi (Sean) McKinney, and nieces, Megan, Courtney, Breckon, Bailey and Taylor; Aunt Carol Vickroy; and Cousin, Lisa (David) Gray, Moline, IL.
