Born on January 10, 1966, in Aurora, Illinois, Dawn's journey through life was marked by an extraordinary blend of kindness, generosity, and spirited joy that touched all who knew her.
Dawn was a beacon of compassion and strength for everyone around her. Regardless of what anyone was going through at any time, she could be counted on to show up with unwavering support. Dawn’s immediate family includes her sister, Tracy Higgins, her brother, Tim Higgins, and her partner, Cleat Anderson, who shared in her life’s journey with deep love and companionship.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Pamela and Terry Higgins, whose legacy lived on in the warmth and strength she carried forward.
