Daniel Belen Hayes Sr., 53, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on April 14th, 2026.

Born August 28th, 1973, to Leonard and Ramona Hayes in Davenport, Iowa. Danny was a devout, hardworking family man and loved fishing and spending time with his family. He loved the Iowa Hawkeyes and having fun with his grandchildren, Hazel, Violet, and Princetonn. 

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Hayes; his father, Leonard Hayes Sr.; three children, Savanna (Robert) Stover, Jazmen Cook, and Daniel B. Hayes II; three grandchildren; and two brothers, Leonard Jr. and Kevin Hayes. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Hayes; his sister, Rebecca Williams; and his grandparents, Bill and Mary Reyna, and John and Norma Hayes. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by many.
