On Thursday, August 13th, Christine Urbain passed away peacefully in Dewitt at the age of 49. 

Christine was an eclectic human who loved her grandchildren, nature, and helping her community at every opportunity. Her ability to find the beauty in everything was rivaled only by the size of her heart and its capacity to love.

Christine is preceded in death by her daughter Melana Shepard, brother Brandon Moore, sister Melana Urbain, Dads Joseph Urbain and Jeff Brandt, and the love of her life, Gary Shepard, as well as many close relatives. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her children Joseph (Nicole) Urbain and Cassie Stapp. Siblings Jennifer Urbain and Jeff Brandt, Moms Cindy (Bob) Brandt-Kirchoefer and Gaylen Moore, Grandchildren Kya, Daisy, Jojo and Melana Urbain, niece and nephew Ashley Gregan and Brayden Seefeldt. As well as many others whom Christine took into her heart. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
