Charles P. Keenon went to heaven on April, 3rd 2026. He was born in Maywood, Illinois, on October 24, 1946. He was preceded in death by his father and hero, Gerald J. Keenon, his mother, Catherine M. Keenon (nee Zick), who loved him no matter what, and his brothers Terrence Keenon, Kenneth Keenon, and Joseph Keenon. He will be missed by his siblings Kathleen Carlson (husband Ronald), Paul Keenon (wife Jill), Judith Krajecki (husband Robert), Kevin Keenon (wife Kimberly), and sisters-in-law Tracy Keenon and Melanie Keenon.

He married Suzanne Wolchik on February 15, 1991, and loved her until the end. She was his love, his partner, and his rock. They raised three children, Jason Keenon (wife Mary), Adam Keenon (wife Kimberly), and Halle Dixon (husband Ben). He is proud of all of them for the wonderful people they have become. He was blessed with seven grandchildren Grace Keenon; Kiyomi, Ashoka and Daya Keenon: Blayke and Fynlee Dixon. He was preceded in death by his grandson Bryan Dixon. And has many beloved nieces and nephews.

Chuck was a Navy veteran who served on the USS Independence, CVA62. He was a Yeoman Third Class. After the Navy, he entered the banking business and in later years was a crisis management executive.

His true passion was telling the Good News of Jesus Christ to the people who passed through his life. He was a teacher of The Word. He tried to follow his God, Jesus, the best he knew how.

He walked with his brothers in Christ in a group of men dedicated to Jesus,

Proverbs 27:17.

Visitation will be held at The Orchard Church (1301 S Grove Ave) in Barrington IL on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, and on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9:30 – 10:30 followed by a memorial service from 10:30 – 11:30 am.
