Cara Janeen Cameron, 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Celebrate Senior Living, Moline. She was born on June 6, 1945, to Dale and Darlene (Glasgow) Loeffler and grew up in Brighton, Iowa.

Cara worked for many years at Washington County Hospital. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, sewing, and thrift store shopping.

She is survived by her children, Caleb (Judy) Cameron, Chad (Michelle) Cameron, and Courtney Brock. She had 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. In accordance with her wishes, Cara was cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will be invited to share memories and honor her legacy.
