IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Buddy
Wright
January 18, 1954 – November 7, 2025
Buddy Wright, a beloved figure in the Moline community, passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on January 18, 1954, in Moline, Buddy was known for his hardheadedness, which often made him a force to be reckoned with, yet his profound care for others remained at the heart of his character. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and dedication, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience.
Buddy's family has been a cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his devoted son, Jamison (Carmen), and his loving stepdaughters, Bobbi and Amanda Wright, and Julie Hahn. His impact will resonate in the hearts of his three grandchildren and six step-grandchildren: dear sisters Stella, Sally (married to Richard), Sandy (married to Jim), and Cindy. Buddy cherished the time spent with his many nieces and nephews, as well as his great-nieces and nephews, who fondly remember the laughter he brought into their lives. He also shared a unique bond with his caretaker, Joann Claver, whose compassion and support were invaluable to him in his later years.
In his passing, Buddy joins his parents, four brothers, and two sisters, who preceded him in death. While they are now reunited, those who remain will forever hold on to the memories of Buddy—his determination, his hearty laughter, and, above all, his unwavering love for his family and friends.
As we gather to honor Buddy’s life, we celebrate his indomitable spirit and the profound impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of caring will continue to thrive in the lives he touched, forever remembered with love and admiration.
Family and friends are invited to share memories and express condolences on his memory page at mvcremation.com.
