Born on January 18, 1954, in Moline, Buddy was known for his hardheadedness, which often made him a force to be reckoned with, yet his profound care for others remained at the heart of his character. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and dedication, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience.

Buddy's family has been a cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his devoted son, Jamison Wright, and his loving stepdaughter, Bobbi Wright. His impact will resonate in the hearts of his granddaughter and dear sisters: Stella, Sally (married to Richard), Sandy (married to Jim), and Cindy. Buddy cherished the time spent with his many nieces and nephews, who fondly remember the laughter he brought into their lives. He also shared a unique bond with his caretaker, Joann Claver, whose compassion and support were invaluable to him in his later years.
