Brandt Cooper

Brandt Michael Cooper, born on February 4, 1991, in Moline, Illinois, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025, in Davenport, Iowa, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Brandt was a loving father, devoted to his children—Kaiya, Layla, Camille, and Gabe—who brought him immense joy and fulfillment. His ability to cherish every moment spent with them was a testament to the enormous heart he possessed.

Throughout his life, Brandt radiated warmth and positivity. His smile had a remarkable power to brighten even the darkest rooms, and his laughter was contagious. A true family man, Brandt loved nothing more than being surrounded by those he cared for. His friends and family knew him as someone who would go above and beyond for anyone in need; he had a huge heart that embraced all.

Brandt’s passion extended beyond his family; he had a deep love for his friends and countless unforgettable moments shared within this circle. He cherished these relationships deeply, making memories that will forever be imprinted in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him. No one could forget the joy he found in his favorite pastime; he simply could not get enough time in the cage.

He is survived by his loving mother, Jennifer Cooper; his beloved children, Kaiya, Layla, Camille, and Gabe; his grandparents, Jeff and Vicki Rice; and his cherished aunt, Angela Jones, along with his supportive uncle, Christopher Cooper. Brandt also leaves behind a wonderful group of cousins, including Kaylie, Kendra, Kelsi, Kirstyn, Kalista Curtis, Kira and Dylan Baker, Kaleah Johnson, Jordan Edmondson, Valerie, Daxton, and Raelynn, all of whom will miss him dearly.

A celebration of Brandt’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 29, from 1 to 3 PM at Wendt Funeral Home, located at 1811 15th Street Place. Friends and family are invited to share their favorite memories in honor of a man who touched so many lives. As we say goodbye for now, may we hold onto the light he brought into our lives and remember him fondly as he takes his place among the stars. Fly high, Brandt Michael Cooper.
