Beverly Joan Gonzalez

Beverly Joan Gonzalez Harmon passed away at her home on October 25, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born on July 25, 1940, in Muscatine.

Beverly lived a life marked by care for others and simple joys that brought happiness to those around her. She worked as a CNA for most of her life, dedicating herself to helping others with compassion and steady kindness. She was known for helping people, and that generous spirit remained a defining part of who she was.

She also found great enjoyment in life’s brighter moments. Beverly loved dancing, camping, and fishing, and she took pleasure in playing the lottery. She enjoyed anything that sparkled, a reflection of her lively spirit and appreciation for fun and beauty. Thanksgiving held a special place in her heart, and she especially enjoyed spending that time with her sister and family.

Beverly will be lovingly remembered by her son, Wayne Parden Jr.; his wife, Angie Parden; by her grandsons, Johnny Parden and Daune Parden; by her sister, Vikki Cortez, and Vikki’s husband, Larry; and by her dearest friend, Kathy Walker. Her many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She shared meaningful family ties with those she loved, and her presence will remain in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Janon Parden; her father, John Harmon; her mother, Jeanette Amy Harmon; her stepfather, Mac Gordon; her brothers, Jack, Larry, Gary, and Ronnie, all from Muscatine, IA; and her beloved dog, Molly.

Beverly will be remembered for her caring nature, her enjoyment of family gatherings, and the warmth she brought to everyday life. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
