Barbara Michelle Danner Boyd, 44, of Davenport, IA, passed away on July 5, 2025, at home, surrounded by love, after a courageous battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life will take place at Living Hope Community Church on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. To honor Barb, please wear bright colors or your "Team Barb" apparel.

Born on July 1, 1981, Barb was known for her bright yellow aura and contagious smile. She was a beacon of kindness, compassion, and empathy, touching the lives of many with her creative spirit and boundless love.

Barb met her soulmate, Nathan, when she was 15 years old. She was smitten and knew then he was hers forever.

Barb attended Davenport North High School and had a fulfilling career at The Little Rock and Gem Shop, where she was surrounded by her two favorite joys: "rocks and people."

Her hobbies included photographing everything in nature, hunting turkey, deer, and rock hunting, where her expertise sparkled; she was a gifted Lego set builder and a creative visionary in the most intricate ways. She was also a passionate supporter of the Detroit Lions, attending games as often as she could, and loved Stephen King novels.

Barb's life was rich with personal relationships. She is survived by her soulmate, Nathan Boyd; her mother, Terri Nicholson; her aunt, Jane Morris; her uncle, Robert Cassel; her siblings, Christina (Bill), Aaron, and Cody; her in-laws, Bob and Tami Boyd, Theresa Hubbard (Kyle), and Thomas Boyd (Jordan); and her adored nieces and nephews: Matthew, Deveroux, Morgan (Katelin), Cara (Reggie), Thomas Jr., Kylynn, Jeremiah, Mason, Kasyn, Aaliyah, Brody, Gracelyn, and Kegan. Also, her great-niece and great-nephews: Noah, Di'yonnah-Ariel, Malachi, Jeremiah, and Jasper. She loved each and every one of them so very much. She also leaves behind her cherished fur babies, Pixie, Gypsy, and Avian.

Barb was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dick and Lois Morris; her aunt, Inez Phelps; her stepfather, Richard Nicholson; her niece, Ariel Graham; her cousin, Lisa Lowe; and her fur baby, Mystic.

Barb will be remembered for her ability to see potential and beauty in the simplest things, creating masterpieces from what others might overlook. Her legacy of love and creativity will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to share memories and express condolences on her memory wall at mvcremation.com.
