Anthony “Tony” Allen Montez, 54, of Davenport, IA, passed away on September 11, 2026, at MercyOne Genesis Hospital, Davenport, IA.  Tony was born on July 13,1972 in Spring Valley, IL to Linda and Sequel Montez of Depue,IL.  He is preceded in death by both parents and brother James Montez. He is survived by two daughters, Tiana Montez of Fairbanks, AK and Sierra (Clay) Wilburn of Colville, WA. Also, two sisters Kimberly Ruiz (Ken Arjes) of Depue,IL and Tammie (Thomas) Delatte of Crestview, FL. Also, Neal Starker of Princeton, IL who was like a brother to Tony. Also, survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and cousins. Also, a special thank you to Cherie Sandberg.

A Celebration of Life and burial at Depue Cemetery in Depue, IL will be scheduled at a later date.
